Lewis Hamilton gambled well when he decided to take his grid penalty that put him at number 21 on the starting grid.
Hamilton battled and finished 3rd thanks partly due to a healthier engine and a safety car after Renault's Kevin Mangussen's accident.
Nico Roseberg took 1st place and Daniel Ricciardo took 2nd place.
Lewis now leads the championship race by 9 points.
