Baltacha was just 30 years of age. Born in Ukraine then moved to Scotland.
She was a three time UK number 1.
In March she announced that she was suffering from Liver cancer.
She stopped playing tennis in 2013.
The world of sports is saddened by the passing of Baltacha. Max Sports is also saddened by the news.
