Maximo was let loose after Yanga lost 2-0 to rivals Simba Sports Club. It was a match to decide who was the best rival also know as "Mtani Jembe".
His position was take up by a previous coach, Hans van der Pluijm, and Emerson's place was taken up by former Simba Amis Tambwe from Burundi.
The change brought mixed feelings among fans and soccer enthusiasts. Some fans say its because Maximo brought on board his people who have less qualifications.
