They are 29 other nominees as well so it's going to a tough selection...The Confederation of African Football (CAF) yesterday named the 30 nominees and Samatta is with other 2 from East Africa, one from Uganda and another from Kenya...The Kenyan is Victor Wanyama who is currently playing in the english topflight premier league with Tottenham Hotspur and the Ugandan is goalie David Onyango who playes for Uganda Cranes and South Africa's premier club Mamelodi Sundowns...Last year the Belgian topflight Genk striker Mbwana Samatta won the tittle for the best player based in Africa.
