CAF AFRICAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: MAMELODI SUNDOWNS ARE CROWNED CHAMPS


Mamelodi Sundowns 'Brazilians' became the 2nd team from South Africa to win the African Champions League...Mamelodi won the crown on 3-1 aggragate against Zamalek of Egypt...
Sundowns lost 0-1 against Zamalek on the final leg in Alexandria Egypt...Zamalek got a 62nd minute goal from Stanley Ohawuchi whereby they dominated the game and pounded on Sundowns side quite often...South Africa's Sports Minister, Fikile Mbalula, was present to witness his team lift the trophy...


Sundowns will represent Africa in December's Club World Cup...Sundown's coach, Pitso Mosimane, was so happy and said, "To come to Egypt and raise a trophy, I don't think there is any sweeter way to lift it"...He coached the South African national team in 2010 up to 2012...He is the only coach from South Africa to win a Champions League trophy...They also won $1.5 million...The South African Government and President Zuma sent their congratulatory messeges from their twitter accounts...Congratulations Mamelodi Sundowns from Max Sports.
