EPL: LIVERPOOL HOLD MANCHESTER UNITED IN A GOALLESS MATCH
A night at Anfield was not so interesting as many would have expected as Liverpool and Manchester United finished goalless...
The match started with the ball unsettled at all and later Manchester United had an upper hand before tables were turned...Manchester United had less class in their touches but managed to hold off Liverpool by parking the "bus"...Top money player Paul Pogba failed to shine yet again...
Liverpool on the other had to rely on a solid defense because they were late gunning down United but they had very good chances as well as great ball control...Sturridge failed to make an impact and was substituted but Roberto Firmino and Adam Lalana were on form...
Manchester United had the lowest possession of 35% which is their lowest in the Premier League since Opta started recording stats in 2003-2004...It is the 2nd time in history these 2 teams finish 0-0.
