AMERICAN SPORTS CAR RACING: TONY ADAMOWICZ DIES AT 75
One of America's sports racing legends has passed away at 75....Tony Adamowicz was a race car champion in the 60's up to the 80's...
He was a champion who had fun while racing...He used to call himself Tony AtoZ from his name Adamowicz...He started the Polish Racing Drivers of America with other 2 follow Polish friends...The group requires you to be neither Polish or racer and you can still join by clicking this link ...
Tony earlier in his career was working at the White House in Washington DC as a communications staffer in the administrations of Presidents Eisenhower, JFK and LBJ...He started racing during LJB's time...During his time he raced many races with different interesting cars like Volvo PV 544, Lotus Cortina, Triumph Spitfire, Dodge Dart, Porsche 911, Alfa GTA, Formula 5000 Eagle, 312P, Lola T70, Chevy McLaren M12, Trans-Am Dodge Challenger...
The list goes on as follows, Ferrari 512S, Porsche 917s, 512M, Javelin, McLaren M8B, 917, Greenwood Corvette, Ferrari GTB/4, Gulf Mirage, Porsche 908/02 Spyder, Ferrari 365 GTB/4s, 280ZX Turbo, IMSA GTP ZX Turbo, GTP Lola T600, Jaguar XJR5...He's passion was also attending vintage events for many year...He was a true racing champion...Rest in peace .
