Moses Malone has passed away suddenly in Norfolk Virginia aged 60.
MVP Malone was a very good player in the National Basketball Association (NBA) league. He retired with the best defensive stats.
Malone will be remembered for being one of the earliest players from high school to the basketball league.
In 1983 he was named MVP when playing for his Philadelphia 76ers team.
He also played for Houston Rockets for a period of 6 years and in Houston he made his mark as the best defensive player.
