Rwanda has officially submitted its bid to host the 2025 UCI Road World Championship...
The official bid was submitted at the UCI headquarters in Switzerland. If Rwanda wins the bid it will be the first time and African country hosts the UCI Championship.
Tour du Rwanda has been promoted from UCI 2.2 to UCI 2.1 due to the increase in popularity over the years.
Switzerland will host the 2020 race, Belgium 2021, Australia 2022, UK 2023 and Switzerland 2024.
This year the 185 km race will take place in Yorkshire.
