THE 'CHESS' GAME JUST GOT REAL AFTER THE PATRIOTS ARE BLINDSIDED BY ANTONIO BROWN RAPE LAWSUIT

The 'tussle' for Antonio Brown just got 'real' after a law suit was filed accusing Antonio Brown of rape...
Brown was supposed to practice with the New England Patriots the a 'bombshell' hit when he was accused by former trainer Britney Taylor.

The Patriots were caught blindsided with the allegations and have made a short statement.

"We take these allegations very seriously. Under no circumstance doss his organization condone sexual violence or assault."

"The league has informed us that they will be investigating. We will have no further comment while that investigation takes place."

Browns defense team has denied all accusations.

His lawyer, Darren Heitner, has issued a statement adamantly denying the allegations.

Heitner claims Taylor filed the suit because Brown refused to invest $1.6 million in a "business project" back in 2017.

Brown admits they had  a "consensual personal relationship" and even 10 days after the 2018 rape accusations she visited him at his home.

She is also claiming punitive damages without any amount specified yet.

Taylor is a former gymnast who runs her own gym it Tennessee for youth.

The two met at Central Michigan University where Brown used to play collage football.

Interesting developments after a 'rocky road' to joint eventually join the Patriots and therefore rising plenty of questions like who is behind this? why now? bitter rivalry somewhere? Was it consensual or not? Is Brown a 'pawn' in a wider chess game? Was it the recorded phone conversation with coach Jon Gruden that was posted on social media? Is it a case of extortion?

Patriots coach Bill Bellichick said on Tuesday that he wanted Antonio Brown because of the hope for success that Randy Moss had.

Brown will have to sit this one out of the field until the investigations are over.
