African Rally Qualifying stage was won by Randeep Singh after outshining 15 other drivers...
The race was held in Dar es Salaam at a suburb called Kawe and the venue wa Tanganyika Packers (grounds of a defunct meat processing factory).
The Birdi Team of which Singh races for clocked 3:01.3 with navigator Zubayr Peredina on his side.
The track was 2.5 kilometers of intense driving skills. "You need to have full of control to make it perfect in the race.
"It was challenging road, but my experiences in the event, made me to collect the best time." said Singh.
Singh and his navigator used Evolution 9 rally car.
Rajpal Dhani of the Hari Singh Rally Team and navigator Moses Matovu took second place in their Subaru Impreza. They clocked 3:07.5.
Dharam Pandya of the Pandya Rally Team took third place. The team clocked 3:08.5.
The fourth position went to Mandeep Singh who clocked 3:08.05.
Sierra Zulu Team with Shehzad Munge took sixth place with 3:11.0 on the clock.
Tufail Tufail finished seventh with 3:12.3.
"It was the best event that saw the drivers showing their skills in the event as well our sponsors managed to showcase their products to the spectators," sadi Rally Director, Satinder Birdi.
The ARC event is also a National Rally Championship so both ARC and NRC points will be collected this weekend.
