It took 10 innings to beat the Cleveland Indians 8-7 to become World Champs yet again after 108 years...The last time they won was 1908 when they defeated the Detroit Tigers 4-1...
In 1945 supposedly a curse was placed upon them by bar owner Billy Sianis after he and his goat were kicked out of a game but now they have managed to end the jinx...Congratulations Chicago Cubs.
