F1: MCLAREN BOSS RON DENNIS QUITS AFTER 35 YEARS IN POWER

Ron Dennis was forced to quit his position as McLaren Chairman and CEO by other shareholders...
The shareholders told him to step down as Chairman and CEO of McLaren Group whereby he protested by going to High Court but failed...Ron Dennis said he was "disappointed"...

Ron Dennis owns 25% of McLaren Group, Mumtalakat Investments from Bahrain owns 50% and his former friend and business partner Mansour Ojjeh owns the remainder 25%...Dennis and Ojjeh, a Saudi-born Frenchman and CEO of TAG Group,  fell-off some years back and Ojjeh sided with the Bahrain people to oust Dennis...

Dennis joined in 1981 to change things and he did manage to change things...McLaren won 20 world championship and earns 850 million pounds a year...He said he will launch a new "technology investment fund" as soon as he "contractual commitments" end.
