FIFA: FATMA SAOURA TO VISIT SIERRA LEONE TO ADDRESS DISPUTE ISSUES



FIFA Secretary-General, Fatma Samoura, is to visit Sierra Leone to address ongoing feud between the country's FA (SLFA) and local authorities...FIFA has requested a meeting with the President Ernest Bai Coroma and other high office officials...
In a leter from Samoura to SLFA she said "We are confident that Siera Leone's president ang government officials will understand and honour our request for an official official visit on November 16."..."We would like to pay a courtesy visit to President of Sierra Leone Ernest Bai Coroma, as well as the Minister of Sports, the Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission and the three-person Committee currently conducting the SLFA match-fixing inquiry." she wrote...FIFA has warned local authorities in September not to interfere with SLFA activities...FIFA is monitoring the events in Sierra Leone and hope to come to a sensible understanding about the many issues including the 2008 match-fixing game and the inquiry.
