He underwent surgery after he had a horrific crash during Tour du Rwanda that left him with a broken femur...The 32 year old rider had competed earlier this year in Tour de Flores, Tour Ethiopia Meles Zenawi and Tour of China...Kenyan Riders Downunder finished Tour du Rwanda 10th out of 15 teams and before the crash Mwangi was 35th.
