BOXING: ANDRE WARD UNCONVINCINGLY BEAT SERGEY KOVALEV BY POINTS

Andre Ward is celebrating two belts in two divisions and is still unbeaten as he won his unconvincing bout against Sergey Kovalev by unanimous decision...
Kovalev was no pushover as he knocked down ward in the 2nd round an he looked solid though out the match but Ward picked himself up and dusted himself to win a very debatable bout...

Many said the score could have gone either way but Kovalev was the better fighter by far...If the decision was not unanimous then it would have been a fair result but it was not...

Anyhow you have to give credit to Ward who landed plenty of body shots that mattered...

The final score card read 114-113 114-113 and 114-113 causing Kovalev to accuse the Judges of being bias because they were American and he was fighting an American...

Kovalev said "It's the wrong decision" and went on to say "I want a rematch and I will kick his ass."...Ward should thank the ref because his holding got worse and the ref was just staring...The holding was helping Ward avoid hard shots from Kovalev...All-in-all It was close to call and Andre got the belts...Let us wait for a rematch.
