US OPEN 2017: RAFA NADAL SEALS HIS 16TH GRAND SLAM IN NEW YORK


Rafael Nadal won a one sided match against South Africa's Kevin Anderson to win his 16th Grand Slam title in New York...The King of Clay champ won 6-3 6-3 6-4 at Flushing Meadows...He now has 2 Grand Slams in the same year since 2013...

He won the French Open in June...Roger Federer leads the all time Grand Slam list with 19...

"It's just unbelievable what happened this year," said Nadal...

"After a couple of years with some troubles, injuries, sometimes playing not good - since the beginning of the season it has been very, very emotional."

Kevin Anderson, 31, was the tallest player in history to ever grace a Grand Slam final with 6ft 8in...

He came into the final leading with 114 aces but Nadal later overpowered him...

Anderson had way too many unforced errors compared to Nadal...

He had 40 unforced errors while Nadal had 11.
