NFL: DONALD TRUMP DENIES KNEEL ROW IS RACE-RELATED


US Prezzo Donald Trump said his comments about protesting the national anthem have "nothing to do with race" in return it brought nationwide rebuke... Trump wanted players who protest the national anthem to be suspended or fired. 

"The issue of kneeling has nothing to do with race," tweeted Trump. 

His comments were like fuel to a fire as many took up the protests throughout the US and abroad. 

Demonstrations against police violence and racial injustice started last year and is likely to continue for a while. 

Colin Kaepernick was the 1st NFL player to lead the protest by kneeling during the national anthem.


In a rare scene Jacksonville Jaguars Shahid Khan joined the players on the pitch and locked hands in solidarity.

Khan donated $1 million to the Trump campaign.

Elswhere in the NFL similar incidents of solidarity happened.


Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans never showed up for the national anthem.

Chicago Bears stood by the sideline locked arms. 

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots did the same.
