Fabio Fognini was kicked out of the US Open for shouting obscenities at a female umpire...
Fognini lost to fellow Italian Stefano Travaglia in that match...

The Swedish umpire, Louise Engzelle, reported Fognini after he called her "troia" which translates to "whore" and also "bocchinara" which translates to "cocksucker"...

International Tennis Federation slapped him with 3 fines of $4,000, $15,000 and $5,000...

He could also face a $250,000 fine for violating the code of conduct...

The Grand Slam board said Fognini was "provisionally suspended from further participation in the US Open pending final determination."

He misses out on the 3rd round of the doubles game with fellow country man Simone Bolelli.
