BOXING: ANDRE WARD PUTS DOWN HIS GLOVES FOR GOOD

Andre Ward has decided to retire from Boxing once and for all...
The 2-weight champ was the super-middleweight world champ before climbing a weight division unifying the WBA, IBF and WBO light-heavyweight belts in 2016.

The champ said in his statement that his body can not "put up with the rigors"of boxing.

"If I cannot give my family, my team, and the fans everything I have, then I should no longer be fighting," said Ward.

Many messages of congrats are pouring in and one of them came from IBF welterweight champ Errol Spence 'Hall of Famer - went out on top as the pound-for-pound king. Hope to be able to do the same some day. Salute bro.'
