CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2013: ROONEY SHINES IN GAME AGAINST LEVERKUSEN

Wayne Rooney played very well despite not scoring after helping his team beat Leverkusen.

The David Moyes squad for the first time played proper football after a spell of terrible performances in the Premier League.

Manchester United won 5-0 in a much deserved win for United.

In a historical perspective, United have never scored 5 away goals in Europe since 1964.

United have now entered the knockout stage of the Champions League.

Goal scorers were Valencia (22'), Emir Spahic (OG 30'), Evans (65'), Smalling (77') and Nani (88').
