Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will join the north London club soon but as of now negotiations are on the right path.
The going cost that Gunner chief executive, Ivan Gazidis, was told when he was in Dortmund was 60 million pounds for the Gabon international star.
It is known that Arsenal had put down an offer of 44.1 million pounds.
Aubameyang was left out of the squad that faced Hertha Berlin on Friday as he wants out of the club.
Dortmund sporting director said, "We have the impression at the moment that he [Aubameyang] has his head on other things and is not fully focused."
