FC Barcelona president confirmes that his team may have to depart with La Liga if Catalonia gains independence....
Josep Maria Bartomeu said Barcelona and and it's members would have to chose which league to join if Catalonia gain independence from Spain.
Barca played behind closed doors in protest of Spain using force to prevent citizens in a banned referendum protest.
Barca beat Las Palmas 3-0 in that game that had no spectators.
After a board meting Bartomeu said "In the case of independence, the club and the members would have to decide which league we would play.
"We are going through difficult and complicated moments and with respect to what could happen in the future we will take it on with calm and wisdom."
Teams affected by the recent events and will be affected after the split are Espanyol, Girona and FC barcelona.
