F1: CHANGES AT FERRARI SAYS PRESIDENT SERGIO MARCHIONNE

Ferrari President Sergio Marchionne said changes are taking place a Ferrari due to the "ugly" reliability issues that occurred at the Malaysia Grand Prix...

Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen suffered similar engine problems that set the team back at the Malaysia GP.

Vettel had to start at the end of the grid and Kimi failed to finish top 3 due to car trouble.

After a closer look Ferrari discovered there was an air intake problem on both engines.

"It's also a fact we've got issues with our power units because we have a young team, but also the quality of the components is not at the right level for a race car," said Marchionne.

"We are intervening and we are working on it.

"It's almost fortunate we haven't had that problem until the Malaysian GP.

"Now we are working on the quality department and making organisational changes.

"Having this kind of problem during a race make us angry.

"That's not a big problem if this kind of thing appears in our factory, but it's really ugly when you are in second place on the grid and you can't start the race."
