Second biggest Arsenal shareholder, Alisher Usmanof, is not holding any talks with Stan Kroenke about shedding-off his stake...
He says his interest in Arsenal is "long term".
Usmanov bought a stake in Arsenal in 2007.
In May he made a 1 billion pounds bid to take majority ownership from Stan Kroenke but the bid was denied.
Reports have surfaced that majority shareholder Kroenke who holds 67% put out a bid for Usanov's shares.
Usmanov holds 30% of Arsenal.
"I see my 30% stake as an important aspect in protecting the best interests of the fans in the club."
He is not part of the board or any decision making position but previously he has blamed Kroenke for Arsenal's misfortune.
"My interest in Arsenal from the beginning was long term and my intention has been to buy additional shares should they become available," said Usmanov
