F1: LEWIS HAMILTON BEATS VETTEL BY 0.239 SECONDS TO TAKE USA POLE

Dominant Lewis Hamilton will start at the front of the grid during  Sunday's US Grade Prix...
He beat Sebastian Vettel by 0.239 seconds with a time of 1:33:108 and a new track record for the Circuit of the Americas

Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas took 3rd position.

Vettel struggled  and was 4th but managed to pull a fast one at the last minute. It is Hamilton's 11th pole in 17 races this season.

He loves the track but complained about the strong heat and gustyou winds.

"It's going to be a great race," said Hamilton.

"It'seems going to be a tough one. Looking after the tyres in these conditions is going to be tough but I am the best prepared I can be."

About winning the title race he said it is "highly unlikely".
