IAAF AWARDS: USAIN BOLT WINS WORLD ATHLETE OF THE YEAR AWARD


9 time Olympic Champion Usain Bolt has won the male IAAF World Athlete of the Year award for a record 6th time...Ethiopia's Almaz Ayana won the female IAAF Athlete of the Year award...
Ayana broke the 10,000m world record in the past Rio Olympics...Bolt will retired in 2017 after 2017 World Athletics Championships in London...Bolt said "When you get to athlete of the year it means that all the hard work has payed off, so if you can win it for a sixth year means as much as the first one."...ayana broke a 23 year record in Rio as she clocked 29 minutes 17.45 seconds...She also won a bronze for the 5,000m race and won the Diamond Race.
