It has been 8 seasons now that Ferrari has enjoyed Santander's support as well as 11 years of the company involvement with Formula One.
"Ferrari and F1 to whom we are very grateful, have played an important role at Santander over the past 10 years," said executive chairman Ana Botin.
"We will continue our support of sport because it is a valuable way to contribute to the prosperity of the communities where we work."
Santander has acknowledge that F1 has helped increase Santander's brand recognition around the world."
Santander sponsoring Ferrari cost 250 million pounds out of a marketing budget of 400 million euros.
Next for Santander in the UEFA Champions League.
They will sponsor the Champions League and take advantage of the advertising space pitch-side and television advertising spots.
