F1: MCLAREN TO DITCH HONDA ENGINES AND MOVE BACK TO MERCEDES ENGINES NEXT SEASON


Life for Mclaren has been at an all-time low thanks to hapless Honda engines...
Honda engines have been uncompetitive and unreliable making McLaren feel frustrated and also making the drivers feeling like they need to move on...

Fernando Alonso gave his team an ultimatum that when it reaches September and the team is still not competitive he will look for another team...  



The McLaren-Honda divorce will cost McLaren 78 million pounds but they have no choice if they are going to be as competitive as Mercedes-AMG, Ferrari and Red Bull...


Alonso has an engine failure during the Canadian Grand Prix while inside race points...The failure aggravated both the driver and the McLaren bosses...



Alonso is one of the best drivers out there in F1 and earns 25 million pounds a year has his contract runs out at the end of the season... 

A deal is in the works with Mercedes-Benz for the supply of Mercedes engines...


Mansour Ojjeh a long-standing shareholder had a long talk with team Principle Toto wolff and Mercedes Chairman Niki Lauda concerning the changing tide.
