F1: FERRARI CANCELS WET-WEATHER TEST AFTER SEBASTIAN VETTEL CRASH

Ferrari has cancelled a Pirelli wet-weather tyre test after Sebastian Vettel crashing terribly...
Vettel, a 4 time champ, had dome 40 laps before the Thursday crash... According to Pirelli "he simply lost control".

The car he used was a 2015 model and it was used to simulate the downforce levels...It was badly damaged.

A spokes person for Pirelli said they were trying to evaluate potential technologies for 2018 season.

The potential technologies include tread patterns as well as rubber compounds.

Pirelli tyres have come under heavy criticism from the drivers.

Vettel says "basically just as good enough to follow the safety car"
