CRICKET: INDIA'S CRICKET BOARD BOSS ORDERED TO QUIT


Anurag Thakur, an influential politician and India's cricket board chief, has been ordered to resign by India's Supreme Court...
Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in under Anurag Thakur but now he was told to resign for not implementing reforms...The court ordered reforms due to match fixing issues and betting issues in the 2013 Indian Premier League (IPL) edition...


BCCI Secretary, Ajay Shirke, has also been told to resign...Cricket is the most popular sport in India...The court also said it would appoint observers to run the administration of BCCI until a new President and Secretary have been appointed.
