AFCON 2017: SADIO MANE LOOSES PENALTY AS CAMEROON ADVANCES TO THE SEMI-FINALS


Senegal needed Sadio Mane to convert a penalty and it was not what they expected...Mane missed a crucial penalty that helped put Cameroon through with a 5-4 penalty win...The game ended 0-0 and extra time was added but it was a still a stalemate...Cameroon are now in the African Cup of Nations semi-finals...Fabrice Ondoa denied Africa's richest player a crucial spot-kick with a 1 hand save...Vincent Aboubakar sunk the winner...Senegal played very well and were favorites to win the game but they failed to net Cameroon...


1st half was dominated by Senegal with clear and precise passing as well as technical strategy....2nd half Cameroon regained their composure and were on the offensive...The overall game was good and entertaining but now the 4 time tournament winners advance to the semis...Sadio Mane has to go back to his club to help out as they have not performed well in recent games...Liverpool surprisingly lost 2-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 4 round of the FA Cup.
