BOXING: LEO SANTA CRUZ BEATS UN-BEATED CARL FRAMPTON IN A REMATCH AT THE MGM GRAND LAS VEGAS

Mexican Leo Santa Cruz got a deserved win as he beat Carl Frampton on points to regain the WBA featherweight title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas...
Frampton lost for the 1st time in his professional career...One judge scored the bout a draw and the other 2 scored 115-113 in favour of the Mexican champ Santa Cruz...

Cruz was the better fighter by landing clinical jabs and boxing his way through the rounds...At the 11th round he came out with a fury of left-right punches but the Irish man came back on the 12th round...

The Irish man accepted defeat saying "Leo probably deserved it. It was my fault and I want to apologize the travelling fans"...Frampton wants another match and has welcomed Santa Cruz to Belfast for a bout...

As far as Boxing is concerned these days this series is up in the ranks as Barrera vs. Moralles or even Ali vs. Frazier...Entertaining, clinical and great boxing all throughout...10,000 plus people camr to witness a good fight with half of those being travelers who came to see Frampton.
