AFCON 2017: BURKINA FASO STRIKE BACK TO HOLD CAMEROON


Burkina Faso held Cameroon to a 1-1 draw as they begun their quest for the cup on a high note...
Benjamin Moukandjo gave Cameroon the lead at the 35th minute mark from a well crafted free-kick ball that went to the upper left side and into the net...Issoufou Dayo headed one from a free-kick that the keeper failed to parry...



Great chances were created by both teams and the Burkinabe were very dangerous from the set-pieces...It was the best game of the day as it had plenty of action unlike the opening game between Guinea-Bissau and Gabon...The Burkinabe had 52% possession with 17 shots...
