Serena won the second round match 5-7 6-3 6-1 but it was not easy.
"She really came out and played really well, she showed no fear," said World number eight Serena.
Serena is no stranger in breaking records and despite a shaky start she manahed to hold the record of 19-0 unbeaten in the second round.
According to ESPN she is the only woman in open-era with a winning record after loosing the first set.
Her record now stands at 118-18. Jer Grand Slam record stands at 56-3.
