SIR ALEX FERGUSON: FORMER MANCHESTER UNITED LEGENDARY COACH UNDERGOES BRAIN HEMORRHAGE SURGERY


Sir Alex Ferguson has undergone brain hemorrhage surgery at Sulford royal hospital...A spokesperson from Manchester United said "the procedure has gone very well but he needs a period of intensive care to optimise his recovery". 

He is a legendary figure at Manchester United with 38 trophies to his name. 

Reaction from the football world have been pouring in praying for his quik recovery.

David Beckham, former United star, wrote on Twitter: "Keep fighting Boss. Sending prayers and love to Cathy and the whole family." 

Liverpool Football Club also has wished for his recovery: "A great rival but also a great friend who supported this club during its most difficult time, it is hoped that Sir Alex will make a full recovery.

FIFA said: "We may join across the world of football in sending our best wishes to Sir Alex Ferguson.
 
Sir Ferguson gave Arsene Wenger a going away silverware present when Manchester United played Arsenal at Old Trafford last Sunday. 

He was knighted in 1999 after winning the "Treble"; Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
