Captain Gabi sealed the game with a late goal that saw Atletico lift the Europa Cup.
Atletico Madrid coach was not at the sideline due to being banned during the Arsenal game so he had to watch his team in the stands.
Diego Simeone became only the second manager to lift the trophy more than once.

The game started even with Marseille pressing had most of the time but Madrid had composure and played with experience and it payed-off.
