Kenya is ready to go ahead with the grand Safari Rally with over 12 pro drivers have already registered...
The iconic event will be the 4th round of the African Rally Championship as well as a candidate for the World Rally Championship (WRC).
"For the last one year we have worked tirelessly to meet all FIA regulations, I'm glad to present a well-planned and safe Safari Rally," said the CEO of the WRC Safari Rally Mr. Phineas Kimathi.
The action will start from 5th to 7th of July.
Nairobi and Naivasha are geared towards a great race.
FIA is hosting a Candidate Event in the African Continent that will eventually lead to the fully fledged WRC Safari Rally in 2020.
The government fully supports the initiative and can't wait to see the world turn their eyes into Kenya.
Expect to see Leroy Gomes from Zambia with a Ford Fiesta R5 and African Champ Manvir Baryanin action.
