Dharam Pandya from the Mzizima Motor Sports Club has come out victorious in the just ended Tanga Rally...
Pandya said, "It is good to start the season with victory since it puts me in a good position to win the national championship."
He currently leads the pack in the National Rally Championship (NRC) order with 25 points.
Pandya was kind enough to thank his navigator for helping him navigate the treacherous Tanga route.
He also thanked his sponsors Toyota Tanzania Limited and Puma Energy for their support.
Rajpa Singh from Kilimanjaro finished 2nd taking 18 points. Both drivers had the same Subaru rally car.
Local Tanga hero Shane Abass took 3rd place with 15 points 'in the bag'.
