The statue is bronze made and about 8ft 9in and weighs about 500kg.
"No matter where you come from, where you are, no matter what you look like, the statue is the symbol that anything is possible," said the former PSG player.
Credit goes to the Swedish creator Peter Linde.
The statue was unveiled at his home town Malmo stadium in front of hundreds of supporters.
Ibrahimovic has had spells with Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan Paris St. Germain and Manchester United.
When he left United he went to play soccer in the United States. He has scored 68 goals for his country in 116 games (2001-2016).
