F1: JENSEN BUTTON TO RACE FOR MCLAREN AS ALONSO GEARS UP FOR INDIANAPOLIS 500
Alonso is going to Indianapolis 500 something that is going to generate plenty of buzz and in his place Jensen Button will lead the McLaren race...
McLaren and Honda are pleased to have the former British Champ on-board on the 28th of May for a one-off race...
"I'm thrilled to be making a one-off return," said Button...Button retired from F1 at the end of last season...
"I couldn't think of a better place to make that return than my adopted home grand prix-Monaco"...
He has a contract with McLaren that at anytime they don't have a driver he will be available for replacement...
Button was the 2009 world champion and he likes the Monaco circuit...
"I have won the race before, in 2009, and it's one of my all-time favourite racetrack"...
Alonso on the other hand will race with team Andretti which is powered by Honda on the 28th of May...His car will be branded McLaren...He wants to win the 'triple crown'.
