EPL: CHELSEA FEND OFF MANCHESTER CITY TO REMAIN 7 POINTS CLEAR OF SPURS

Chelsea had it rough but managed to beat Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge...

Pep Guardiola faced another huge defeat yet again home and away making it his 1st time to do so in his career...City are now battling to remain at top 4...

Eden Hazard got fans off their seat when he truck early, 10th minute, when his shot deflected off defender Vincent Kompany and passed keeper Willy Caballero...The keeper should have saved the ball but it was not so...Sergio Aguero equalized at the 26th minute mark as Chelsea's keeper decided to gift City with possession...

As far as Chelsea are concerned it was purely a defensive game that worked on their favour...Manchester City were relentless in theor persuit of an equalizer but Conte and his squad had other ideas...Conte at one point brought in Nemanja Matic and Kurt Zouma at the start of the 2nd half as a defensive sub move to lock-down the fort...

It was a clash of two great coaches, Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte, with Pep being devastated with a loss and Conte's goal for the Premier League title is almost becoming a reality.
