CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: BORUSSIA DORTMUND BUS HIT BY EXPLOSIONS


Borussia Dortmund bus was struck by explosives last night when they were on their way to the Stadium to play Monaco...
The players are safe and in high spirits as the match was postponed until today...Only one player defender, Marc Bartra, was injured during the explosions... He fractured his wrist during the explosions...


Chief Executive of Borussia Dortmund, Hans-Joachim Watzke, said "In such a crisis situation all of Borussia will pull together,"

"The team and coaches were shocked. Now we must channel it in some way."


Captain Marcel Schmelzer said "We are all in shock and out thoughts are with Marc. We hope that he will make a speedy recovery." 


Police found a letter near the scene of the attack that claims responsibility...They have not disclosed the identity of the involved... 

FIFA boss Gianni Infantino condemned the attack....Uefa boss Aleksander Ceferin said he was "deeply" disturbed and "praised" the decision to postpone the match...


After the match was postponed Monaco fans chanted in support of Dortmund.
