F1: CLARIE WILLIAMS SUPPORTS 'GRID GIRLS' REMOVAL

Team chief Claire Williams has come out in support of grid girls removal this season saying it was "a decision the sport needed to make"...
"We have to move with the times," said Williams.

60% of BBC sport respondents disagree with the removal of grid girls.

F1 on Wednesday said they will stop the practice of grid girls holding driver boards.

Susie Wolff former Williams test driver agrees with the '60%' BBC respondents.

"Let's take the successful women in sport and make role models out of them to inspire others.

Former grid girls say the F1 measure was too "extreme" and "we love doing it."

We will miss their presence and let's hope F1 will incorporate them in a different way soon.

It was part of a tradition that many don't want to see it just disappear.
