George Groves proved a point as he beat Chris Eubank Jr by points to retain his WBA world super- middleweight title...
Groves produced a great display of counter punches and footwork to push him to the 12th round.
Eubank Jr had a terrible cut in the 3rd round that hampered his efforts in the following rounds.
In the 7th round Groves had control of the round with crisp counter punches. In the 10th round Eubank Jr stumbled to the floor but Groves failed to get a knockdown.
Composure was the key factor in Groves win whereby he did not entertain a close-up fight.
Eubank Jr could not live-up to the hype as Groves looked the part as a proffessional boxer.
The final judges scorecards read 117-112 116-112 115-113.
This win pushed Groves to the final of the World Boxing Super Series final and he will face Callum Smith from England or Jurgen Brahmer of Germany.
