MET GALA 2026 KIM K, CARDI B & BAD BUNNY BRING THE GLAM!!!

The Met Gala red carpet is officially on and the early arrivals are already going full main character

The Carters are in the house ... Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Blue Ivy made the gala a family affair ... and they look stunning.

Sabrina Carpenter arrived wearing all black in Hollywood glam. Gigi Hadid showed up in a sheer, dark gray gown as she shows off her bare back and bum while glistening in the carpet lighting. Amanda Seyfried and Connor Storrie also made their respected cameos. Amanda in a blush pink, floor-length maxi dress paired with a dazzling necklace to brighten the look. Connor making his Met Gala debut in an all-black moment, serving up some shoulders with a polka-dotted halter top that trails behind as he takes his first steps.

Madonna arrived wearing a dramatic pirate inspired hat and a brass trumpet, accompanied by women in sheer blindfolds who highlight her look.

Earlier on ... Cara Delevingne, Bill SkarsgÄrd, and Lauren Sånchez Bezos were some of the first to arrive. Cara stunned in a sleek black gown with a sheer, trailing back that turned the museum steps into her runway, while SkarsgÄrd brought his signature edge to the carpet, wearing a suit with a double-breasted trench coat. Sånchez Bezos showed up in a strapless navy gown dripping with jeweled shoulder details.

Inside fashion's biggest night, stars are dressing to the dress code "Fashion Is Art" -- the theme is "Costume Art" -- celebrating the Met's "Costume Art" exhibition.

Also making major entrances: co-chair Venus Williams in a sparkling black gown with a bold silver neckpiece, and Nicole Kidman in a fiery red Chanel look with feathered drama. Anna Wintour kept it classic in teal with a feathered shawl, while Ashley Graham and La La Anthony brought serious glam with sheer textures and heavy embellishments.

The A-list event is co-chaired by Beyoncé, Kidman, Williams, and Wintour with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sånchez Bezos serving as honorary chairs.

BEST MOMENTS FROM THE BAD BUNNY’S SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW

"PATHETIC MAGA FOOLS, GO CHOKE ON FKAGS": NFL FANS TRASH CHARLIE KIRK'S TPUSA ALL-AMERICAN HALFTIME SHOW DURING BAD BUNNY SUPER BOWL LX PERFORMANCE

The New England Patriots are currently playing the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium. This game is a big rematch of the Super Bowl from 11 years ago. Back then, the Patriots won because of an important interception near the goal line.

The halftime entertainment became a point of choice for viewers. While the official show was on, an alternative option gained attention for its distinct approach.

Turning Point USA, the conservative organization founded by Charlie Kirk, hosted the “All-American Halftime Show,” which was streamed live from various platforms during Super Bowl LX halftime on February 8, 2026. This patriotic alternative to Bad Bunny’s performance attracted over 5 million peak viewers with a lineup celebrating faith, family, and freedom.

TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet described the event, saying, “This is a family-friendly, patriotic alternative with no agenda.”

The 30-minute show headlined by Kid Rock featured country artists Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. It aired on platforms such as YouTube, Rumble, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Daily Wire+, One America News, Real America’s Voice, NTD.com, The National Desk, and CHARGE!, after being excluded from X at the last minute due to licensing issues.

TPUSA responded to criticisms of the NFL’s decision to feature Bad Bunny, noting that his Spanish-language performance differed from an alternative that would have emphasized American values.

The official Super Bowl drew over 115 million viewers, up from 112 million last year.

NFL fans offer honest takes on Bad Bunny’s alternative show

The difference between the Super Bowl halftime show and events like TPUSA shows a divide among NFL fans.

One fan remarked, “127.7 million viewers are watching the Super Bowl. Less than 1% right? So what percentage of fucking racist losers then are not watching the half time show?,” questioning the alternative’s reach and motives.

A second fan stated, “You can watch TPUSA halftime show on your phone and watch bad bunny on the tv,” suggesting a practical way to view both.

A third fan noted, “You are correct Turning Point is insane. By the way 300 million plus are watching Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny,” exaggerating official viewership to downplay TPUSA’s event.

A fourth fan commented, “Who cares that’s nothing compared to what the SB halftime just got,” dismissing the alternative’s impact.

A fifth fan said, “Pathetic MAGA fools, go choke on flags,” criticizing the show’s political undertones.

This split shows how halftime choices can separate NFL fans. While the league aims for global appeal, events like TPUSA’s show offer different options, mixing music with the game’s excitement.

PRESIDENT TRUMP SLAMS BAD BUNNY'S SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW, CALLS IT ONE OF THE WORST OF ALL-TIME

© CARY EDMONDSON-IMAGN IMAGES

President Trump was not a fan of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show.

Last week, Trump revealed that he wasn’t looking forward to the halftime show because he said Bad Bunny.

“I’m anti-them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is sow hatred. Terrible,” Trump told the Post.

On Sunday, Bad Bunny took the stage in Santa Clara and called for unity at the end of his Super Bowl halftime show.

After Bad Bunny’s performance, Trump took to Truth Social to bash the Super Bowl halftime show, calling it one of the worst performances of all time.

“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence. Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History! There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD — And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

BAD BUNNY'S 2026 SUPER BOWL HALFTIME SHOW IS ALREADY BRINGING OUT THE RACISTS

Bad Bunny is coming! On September 28, during halftime for Sunday Night Football, the NFL and Roc Nation announced that the DebĂ Tirar MĂĄs Fotos musician will headline the Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, which will take place on February 8 at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Bad Bunny has performed at the Super Bowl once before, previously making a cameo during Jennifer Lopez and Shakira's Halftime Show in 2020 — but he'll be the headline performer for the first time ever for the 2026 event. “@badbunnypr is bringing Puerto Rico to the world’s biggest stage,” the official Apple Music account shared on Instagram.

“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself,” the Puerto Rican singer, whose given name is Benito Antonio MartĂnez Ocasio, shared in a statement. “It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL.”

The 2025 Halftime Show, which was headlined by Kendrick Lamar, was watched by over 133 million viewers — higher than the viewership of the actual game itself. Fans of the the global superstar are thrilled to see Benito take on one of the world's biggest stages. But some people are less than excited about the 2026 performer, and took to social media to spout racist backlash, criticizing the musician's political stance and the fact that most of his music is in Spanish, not English.

“Football is an AMERICAN game, we’ve been trying to kick out illegals for YEARS. This will just bring them in,” one xenophobe wrote in the volatile comments section of Bad Bunny's Instagram collab announcement post with the NFL, Roc Nation, and Apple Music. “Will there be subtitles? Asking for 90% of the country,” wrote another Instagram user.

But for every racist or xenophobic comment on Instagram about Bad Bunny's global fan base, there were hundreds more praising the decision. “I hope he doesn’t utter a single word of English the entire show! LET’S GO, BAD BUNNY!” commented one fan. “The racism in this comment section is wild. Way too normalized. Bad Bunny is one of the top 3 most famous artists in this damn world. Yall can zip it,” chimed in another. (It's true: Bad Bunny has been ranked as one of the top three most-streamed artists on Spotify since 2019 and was the most-streamed artist from 2020 to 2022.)

The criticism continued on X, however, with conservative pundits accusing the NFL of “self-destructing” and making “the Super Bowl political," referencing Ocasio's previous comments about ICE and President Donald Trump; ICYMI, Bad Bunny chose not to tour in the United States after the release of DebĂ Tirar MĂĄs Fotos because of ongoing ICE raids.

“There were many reasons why I didn’t show up in the US, and none of them were out of hate—I’ve performed there many times,” he explained to i-D magazine earlier this month. “All of [the shows] have been successful. All of them have been magnificent. I’ve enjoyed connecting with Latinos who have been living in the U.S."

“But specifically, for a residency here in Puerto Rico, when we are an unincorporated territory of the U.S.,” Ocasio continued, "People from the U.S. could come here to see the show. Latinos and Puerto Ricans of the United States could also travel here, or to any part of the world. But there was the issue of like, f*cking ICE could be outside [my concert]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about.”

BARCELONA TO WEAR TRAVIS SCOTT LOGO ON SHIRTS FOR NEXT LA LIGA

Not Taylor Swift after all

Barcelona are reportedly set to wear the logo of rapper Travis Scott on their shirts for the next La Liga Clasico with Real Madrid in May.

As part of their sponsorship deal with Spotify, Barca have worn cutomised shirts in recent Clasico clashes with their bitter rivals in the Spanish top flight.

Taylor Swift had been touted as being Barca’s ‘first choice’ for the next fixture in May, but the Catalans will go for Travis Scott instead, according to Ara.

Scott is therefore set to follow in the foosteps of Drake, RosalĂa, The Rolling Stones, Karol G and Coldplay in featuring on Barca shirts for the iconic fixture.

The America rapper is one of the most popular artists on Spotify. He has more than 68 million monthly listeners, only Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Bad Bunny, Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish have more.

The game is due to take place on May 11 at Montjuic, with kick-off scheduled for 4.15pm local time.
