SOCCER STAR RONALDINHO ARRESTED IN PARAGUAY


Former Brazilian star Ronaldinho and his brother Roberto Assis were arrested in Paraguay for presenting fake passports to authorities...

Prosecutors said the two gave false documents when they landed in Paraguay's capital city Asuncion on Wednesday. 

The pair's hotel rooms were searched and they were taken in custody for questioning. They deny wrongdoing and thought the passports were a courtesy gesture. 



Rolnadinho  in July 2019 got in trouble with the authorities in Brazil for illegally building in a nature reserve resulting in his Brazilian and Spanish passports being confiscated. 

The FIFA 2004 and 2005 World Player of The Year as well as the 2002 World Cup winner went to Paraguay to promote a book and a campaign for underprivileged children. 

He is still very wealthy with an estimated worth of 80 to 100 million sterling pounds. He is reported to charge 150,000 pounds for a single promoted Instagram post.
