Tottenham Hotspur has won on goal away goals as the game stood at 4-4 aggregate.
It was an epic battle between Tottenham and Manchester City with goals flying either side with VAR becoming a crucial decider of the game.
It was a tough defeat for Pep Guardiola who said, "It's tough. It's cruel but we have to accept it" He goes on to say "We fought a lot, nine, 10 months for the Premier League. It's in our hands. It's tough but we have to do it."
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino on the other hand was very delighted with the win. He said, "That is why we love football. Today we showed great character and great personality. It was an unbelievable game."
It was a nail biting game as Raheem Sterling was denied a late stoppage time winner after Sergio Aguero was ruled offside in the setup by VAR.
Fernando Llorente' s "handball" went to VAR thus securing Spur into the semifinals of the Uefa Champions League.
Liverpool has comfortably moved on with a 1-6 aggregate against Porto. Liverpool won the game 1-4 thanks to Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Virgil van Dijk
