LOUIS VUITTON AND SINGER VEHICLE DESIGN JOIN FORCES TO REIMAGINE PORSCHE 911

Louis Vuitton and Singer Vehicle Design have joined forces on two reimagined Porsche 911s, marking the first time the French luxury house has shared billing with another brand on a finished product.

The collaboration started with a relatively small request: Louis Vuitton was brought in to create a dashboard clock. From there, the project expanded to encompass nearly every functional element of two 964-generation 911s, one a 390 hp naturally aspirated coupe and the other a 510 hp turbocharged cabriolet.

The two cars take distinctly different approaches. Jean Arnault helped define the saffron-and-cobalt coupe, which draws on Louis Vuitton’s historic color palette and trunk-making heritage, while Nicolas Ghesquière shaped the white-and-gold cabriolet around the look of classic wooden speedboats. Both come with removable Tambour timepieces, custom luggage, and their own Louis Vuitton capsule collections.

F1 ANNOUNCES LOUIS VUITTON TO TITLE SPONSOR 2025 SEASON-OPENING AUSTRALIAN GP

Formula 1 has announced that Louis Vuitton has become the sport’s latest partner in a deal which will see the brand sponsor the 2025 season-opening Australian Grand Prix.

Louis Vuitton’s increased presence in the paddock this season was revealed last October through the news that LVMH would become a partner to F1 on a 10-year deal.

But alongside prominent trackside branding, Louis Vuitton will also now title sponsor the upcoming Australian Grand Prix, which will be the curtain raiser to the 2025 campaign.

The round at the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne will host the season-opener for the first time since 2019 on March 16 to commence another 24-round calendar.

“We are thrilled to welcome Louis Vuitton as Title Partner for our first 2025 race,” F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali said.

“This is a partnership between two global icons linked first and foremost by their great passion for innovation, excellence and creativity, which makes them two exceptional timeless stories.

“The entry of Louis Vuitton not only enhances the experience of our sport, but celebrates the union of luxury, craftsmanship, and the highest expression of automotive competition.

“2025 will be an epic year for Formula 1 and I am proud to start it with our passionate partners at Louis Vuitton.”

Louis Vuitton’s connection to F1 pre-dates the recent development as the French House has designed the trophy that the race winner at Monaco has received since 2021.

Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO, Louis Vuitton, added: “I am immensely proud of this partnership between Louis Vuitton and Formula 1 with our shared ambition to always strive for innovation, craft, and precision.

“The synergy of our two worlds is echoed in the savoir faire of our ateliers and garages, artisans, and engineers, while celebrating the outstanding performance of champion drivers around the world who embark on a journey of excellence with every race.”

F1 ANNOUNCES UNPRECEDENTED $1 BILLION PARTNERSHIP IN HUGE F1 2025 MOVE

Entrance to the Formula 1 paddock

F1 has announced a major ‘global partnership’ – kicking in from F1 2025 – with LVMH in a reported billion-dollar deal.

The series has arguably never been more popular than it is right now, a boom period triggered by the success of Netflix’s hit docuseries Drive to Survive. Formula 1 has now taken another giant stride by striking a deal with luxury brands group LVMH, in a deal reportedly worth a whopping $1billion.

Formula 1 strikes lucrative $1billion LVMH deal

This new ‘global partnership’ carries a reported value of $100million per season for Formula 1 – creating that $1billion pot over its 10-year term – and is set to feature a range of LVMH’s iconic Maisons, such as Louis Vuitton, Moët Hennessy and TAG Heuer, this link-up referred to as an “unprecedented agreement”.

One brand name which stands out particularly in that crowd is TAG Heuer, considering that rival Rolex currently serves as the official timepiece of Formula 1.

Various outlets are suggesting that Rolex will depart at the end of F1 2024.

Greg Maffei, CEO of F1’s commercial rights holder Liberty Media, said: “LVMH and Formula 1 are two global brands that consistently push the boundaries of creativity and innovation, values core to Liberty Media.

“We were thrilled to work with one of the LVMH Maisons during the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, and to now expand our relationship with the Group as they become a Global Partner.

“The opportunity to scale our commercial arrangements is emblematic of the vision we have for Formula 1 as the business continues to grow its platform. We look forward to working with Bernard and Frédéric Arnault [Chairman and CEO of LVMH Group and CEO of LVMH Watches respectively] in the years to come.”

Formula 1 president Stefano Domenicali added: “Our sport is founded on the relentless pursuit of excellence, a value that also lies at the heart of LVMH, so I am delighted to announce this historic partnership will begin in 2025.

“As Formula 1 continues its global growth, attracting new and more diverse audiences, the strength and breadth of LVMH makes it the perfect partner for us to work with as we look to continually enhance the experience of our fans and the heritage of our incredible sport.

“This is a landmark partnership for both companies, and I would like to thank Bernard and Frédéric Arnault for their vision and commitment to bring this to life.”
