MANCHESTER CITY BANNED FOR TWO YEARS BY UEFA

Manchester City have been banned from European club competition for two years by UEFA...

City have been found to have committed "serious" breaches of UEFA's club licensing and financial fair play regulations.

In addition to being banned they have been slapped with a massive 30 million euros fine. The only chance City has is to appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

City responded by calling the decision "prejudicial" and will appeal.

The decision does not affect the women's team.

Real Madrid was the team City was to face in the last 16 on February 26th at the Bernabeu.
